A variety of accommodations are located throughout the Valley — from studio to 5 bedroom units. Also available are a wide variety of inns, lodges, and motel/hotel rooms — from quaint bed and breakfasts to casual lodges.
Typically smaller properties B&Bs usually have an owner innkeeper on premises featuring. They feature personal attention and hospitality. Many have interesting architecture and some are historic structures. B&Bs offer a clean, comfortable, homey environment with individually decorated rooms. Breakfast is typically included in the room rate.
You'll find the same generous hospitality and personal attention in a Country Inn as the B&Bs offer. Quaint or historic buildings and comfortable, homey ambiance and grounds are typical of Country Inns. Individually decorated rooms and full dinner service, in addition to breakfast, are common.
Lodges are generally larger properties ranging in size from ten to twenty-five rooms. The rooms are more apt to be similarly decorated and frequently include Televisions, and telephones. Prices may be a bit less than B&Bs and Inns. Some may have include a restaurant, a pool and/or hot tub. Most offer a continental breakfast.
Condominiums are a good option for small groups and one of the most economical during the summer months. The Valleys' condos range from slopeside at Sugarbush to complete self-contained resort properties. Choices are from 1-4 bedroom and may feature kitchens, kitchenettes, fireplaces and other amenities.
Many people ask us about camping in the area. There are no campgrounds with facilities in this immediate area. Although the Green Mountain National Forest and the Long Trail are just a couple of miles from the Hyde Away. For information on State Parks, visit the Vermont State website.
